Located in front of Ibirapuera Park, the green lung of the largest South American capital, the Pullman Hotel Ibirapuera São Paulo, is a stylish lodging option in one of the best addresses in the city. Within easy reach of the park , as well as the famous and central Paulista Avenue, and Congonhas airport, the Pullman hotel is the right address for those who do not want to waste their time in the city dealing with the notoriously hectic São Paulo traffic.
Besides its privileged location, the Pullman Hotel follows the millennial executive style, with designer furniture and art pieces throughout the airy, glassed in lobby.
I was assigned a clean and comfortable room, decorated in warm earth tones. The room was bright and quiet, which by the way is something I consider essential in order to get a good night of sleep.
Equipped with spacious showers, the bathroom was bright and had plenty of hot water, which came down steady and with great pressure. The vanity area was equally spacious and had plenty of room for toiletries and personal items.
The hotel’s outdoor area has a small but appealing heated pool. Despite its size, the pool sits in a quiet corner of the hotel, which guarantees privacy and serves well for exercising a few laps after a busy day in the city.
There are two highlights worth mentioning about the Pullman Ibirapuera São Paulo. The first is the well equipped fitness area. I am generally satisfied when hotels provide a small gym to keep up with the workout routine on the road, however the Pullman fitness area is large and filled with good cardio and weight equipment. It is located above the pool in a bright glassed-in structure and it fairs well when compared to one of the various full sized fitness centers spread across the city.
The other highlight worth mentioning is the power breakfast offered at the hotel every morning. Around the corner from the ground floor lobby, the busy breakfast room fills up with executives on their way to work, or with power meetings that are conducted right there on the spot. There is great variety of cold and hot dishes, as it is common in superior hotels, and several healthy options are attractively displayed, such as the detox juice made with dark green kale and the energizing juice with fresh squeezed oranges mixed with carrots and ginger. Everything is fresh, elegantly displayed and quickly replenished throughout the morning.
The Pullman Ibirapuera São Paulo is overall a very good option and exceutives looking for a good location, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms and a well-equipped fitness area. It is a good choice for those who want to combine business and pleasure in a safe and well-located area of São Paulo.
